Iran’s Tabas battels tiny but deadly

Iranian people in Tabas county have engaged in a campaign that brings awareness regarding the dangers of cigarette butts for nature and human well-being.

In a campaign called ‘Say No to Cigarette Butts’ nature lovers of Tabas in South Khorasan Province joined hands together to collect cigarette butts left in nature.

They removed all of these tiny but deadly foes of nature and human health in a Golshan Park.

Trillions of cigarette butts are thrown into the environment every year, where they leach nicotine and heavy metals.
